Service guarantee

What we commit to in writing

A guarantee is only useful if you can read the exclusions before you need them. Here is what we commit to on every contract, and what is honestly outside its scope.

Commitments

Five things every contract includes

01

48-hour re-clean

Report a documented deficiency within 48 hours of service and we return to correct it at no charge — no new quote, no scheduling fee.

02

On-time arrival window

You receive a defined arrival window before the scheduled date. If we are going to miss it, you hear from the scheduling desk before it passes.

03

Same-day photo reporting

For scheduled contracts, photo documentation of completed work is sent the same day, so you have a record without needing to inspect every visit in person.

04

Defined urgent response times

Storm damage, break-ins, and emergency glass calls are triaged ahead of routine scheduling, with a response time confirmed at the time you call — set out in your service agreement rather than promised generically here.

05

Weather rescheduling notice

Where wind, freezing temperatures, or storm conditions mean a scheduled visit cannot safely proceed, we give notice and rebook to the next available date rather than proceeding unsafely.

Exclusions

What the guarantee does not cover

We would rather state this plainly than have you discover it after a claim.

  • Pre-existing mineral or hard water etching
Etching that has bonded into the glass surface over time is a restoration problem, not a cleaning one. We identify it during the walkthrough and quote restoration separately if you want it addressed.
  • Defective or failed seals
Fogging between panes of a sealed unit indicates a failed seal, not dirty glass. Cleaning cannot correct it, and it falls to the glazing manufacturer or installer, not us.
  • Hard water staining requiring restoration
Heavy mineral deposits from sprinklers or building runoff sometimes require abrasive or chemical restoration beyond standard cleaning. This is scoped and quoted as a separate service.
  • Weather-window cancellations
A visit cancelled or rescheduled for wind, freezing conditions, or storms is not a deficiency and is not covered by the re-clean guarantee — it is rebooked at the next available window.
  • Damage present before we arrive
Existing scratches, chips, or coating damage identified before work begins is documented at the walkthrough and excluded from the guarantee, since it did not result from our service.
Questions

Guarantee FAQ

What counts as a documented deficiency?+

Streaking, missed panes, spotting, or residue visible on inspection and reported with a location and photo within the guarantee window. We re-clean the affected area at no charge.

How is the arrival window communicated?+

You receive a defined arrival window ahead of the scheduled date. If the crew is running outside that window, the scheduling desk contacts you before it lapses, not after.

What happens if weather forces a reschedule?+

We give notice as early as conditions allow and offer the next available date. Suspended and rope access work cannot proceed outside the wind and temperature limits described on our building access page, for the crew's safety.

Is the guarantee the same for a one-time clean and a standing contract?+

Yes. The 48-hour re-clean commitment and reporting standard apply the same way whether it's a single visit or part of a recurring schedule.

The written guarantee terms in your service agreement govern over this page in the event of a conflict. If anything here is unclear, ask your account manager before signing.
